Anyone know where to get good winter running coats for XL or 2XL…? I guess they figure fat people don’t want to get in shape. :| My search yield this so far:
Anyone know why the computer screen would black out? Box was still running, tried to use my hot keys to put it to sleep and it didn’t respond. I was just tumblin’ like normal peeps. Guessing it’s hardware… specifically video card, but that doesn’t really answer why I couldn’t shut it down. Ideas?
So I reformatted my PC because I had some sort of virus that would continuously duplicate an NSFW picture on my desktop (no, I’ve never seen it). I have no idea how I could have gotten this.
Anyways, after I was done, Winblows was back. But when I turn it on, it shuts itself off/reboots right after windows welcome screen. My preliminary research indicates problems with RAM/power supply unit. I have no idea, do you? Help - forever grateful?
My girls are growing quickly. It’s harder for me to be home more these days to give them their usual ‘free range’ time.
I bought a shelf set to maximize space for a huge cage. How do I make this elegant cage for my guinea pig [this photo’s not my cage]? Specifically I need help with what to use for the bottom! I’d like it to be easy to clean as I feel they deserve a COMPLETE in and out cleaning of cage ever 2-3 days. I prefer not to use towels and such, but wood chips and hay for sleepies. Please give me ideas?
I started running last week. I needed to. Getting big, again— scratch that, back to being big already. I used to weigh 285 once, dropped to 200 (in five months), gained back to 230, then dropped again to 160 at my very lowest (in about a year and a half in total—all with running). Now again, I’m about 275… mind you with more muscle than last time, but still (because I had incorporated some weights with that fat loss). I just let go about 6 years ago because of depression and reinflated myself across these years.
My body still remembers the workouts and it’s slightly easier, except for my lungs. No, I don’t smoke, but it’s hard on them anyway (outside), especially when it’s humid. Back then, I had access and funds to visit a gym. Now, I don’t have that kind of money, plus I live too far, — plus I just found out my car is on its last legs, meaning I can use it mostly for work purposes only because I can’t replace her any time soon if she does die. Essentially, no gym.
Frankly, I hate running outside, not because it’s outside, but because of people and cars - oh and dogs (like I need my heart to skip a beat when an unseen dog just barks from behind a fence). I also never ran in too much in heat or smog, so I don’t know how that will go. But anyways, speaking of people, just earlier, running passed this house, some douche yells “What?!” sitting in front of his house (I guess I had looked in his general direction.).. so I answered “YOU WHAT?!”, but kept running — nothing interferes with my routine. His answer: “Yeah, you better run!”… mine: ”Come at me, bitch!” (damn you tumblr for this less-than-gentlemanly verbose influenced response). He didn’t. Just pisses me off is all. Then there’s often those in their cars yelling stuff… so I just blow them kisses or yell “You wish you were this hot!”— if they slowed down enough. Everyone’s an armchair critic. I may even be so bold to say I’m in as good a shape as they are, even if I’m fat (no health problems aside from this). The bird has been known to be flipped at them as well on occasion.
I pretty much dropped the junk food like chips, chocolate, candy, and other useless fatners. I am totally weak for chips, especially. For me, it has to be cold turkey. I’m limiting portions a bit. My main problem is that I’m a carbohydrates kind of guy. Totally fussy, so it doesn’t help. To counter this, I’m planning to use my blender to liquefy any food whose texture or taste I can’t endure. I can swallow anything… in food, that is.
For the new beginner routine, I found a great link for starting up again. I’m in week 1. Well, I tried the week 1 program four times this week, then today just decided to see if I can do week 2… I almost did. Perhaps, I could have, but I was pushing myself hard. So I suggest doing week 1 around 5-6 times if you’re a starter or re-starter like myself. Better to do things more correctly than not.
I hope I can keep going. I get discouraged easily as I still suffer from depression. Fatty foods can no longer be an outlet. Thing is, you feel like you can’t keep doing it and you tell yourself I’m never doing this again, but only during the workout. You forget any sufferings of the workout about half an hour after. I need to do this at least 4 times a week for results.
I once tried walking five miles a day for a week (about 4-5 times). For me, walking does nothing and it takes too much time out of my day. Results are also too slow and I want to quit after short. For walking, I like to do it in the woods when exploring. I walk all day. I can probably walk 20 miles without losing a step. It’s just not a fat burner for me.
Anyone draw with charcoal? Can you suggest sites, books, and tools of this trade?
Best book for learning to play cello?

Someone help me learn coloured pencil drawing better, please. :P
What is the Doctor Who version everyone’s raving about? I’d like to get in on some of that action. Was going to order box set dvd but there are so many! And I don’t have cable —by choice. lol
Same question for walking dead.. any good? :D
And I mean everything… times per day, amount, what you feed them, etc. Not sure if overfeeding. Any help appreciated. They’re adults.
